1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Scoritly (the “Service”), operated by Scoritly (“Scoritly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Scoritly is an AI-powered job-search platform. It lets you browse aggregated job listings, score your resume against a specific job, generate AI-optimized resume rewrites and cover letters, and track your applications. The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence (including Anthropic's Claude API) to generate these outputs. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Scoritly offers a Free plan and an optional paid Pro subscription. Pro is available for $39 per month. When the quarterly option is offered at checkout, it is $79 per three-month billing period. Prices are in U.S. dollars. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method the price and billing interval shown at checkout.

Auto-renewal: Your paid subscription automatically renews for the monthly or three-month interval selected at checkout, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

Prices and applicable taxes may change. We will give you notice of any price change before it applies to your next renewal.

4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase by emailing contact@scoritly.com — no questions asked. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Except as required by law or as expressly stated here, payments are otherwise non-refundable, and renewal charges after the first 30 days are not eligible for the guarantee.

5. Accounts and Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for the content you upload, including ensuring you have the right to upload it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose, including submitting false information in job applications.
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others or that you do not have permission to use.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or to disrupt or overload the Service.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content, or share a single account among multiple people.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
• Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or otherwise violates the acceptable-use policies of our AI providers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Scoritly and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal job-search purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of the resumes and other content you upload. As between you and us, the optimized resumes, cover letters, and other outputs the Service generates for you are yours to use. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content and No Guarantee of Results

The Service uses artificial intelligence to score and rewrite resumes and to generate cover letters. AI output may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for reviewing and editing all output before using it. Scoritly does not guarantee that using the Service will result in any job interview, job offer, employment, or any particular ATS score or outcome. Hiring decisions are made by third parties outside our control.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output will be accurate or meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scoritly and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
